As a proud member of our small rural community, MSA recently welcomed 11 Habersham Central High School student athletes to tour our facility as part of the Beyond the 90 program.
These young men are Habersham Central High School soccer players and were accompanied by their Head Coach, Ric Wallace and soccer booster club President, Ryan Tyree. Vice President of Operations and Engineering, Michael Lowery, has a personal connection to both the soccer team and the Beyond the 90 program. His son, MJ Lowery, is a recent graduate of HCHS and student athlete that participated in the program. Tucker Bohannon, shown above, participated in the program as well and works at MSA through the Work Based Learning program.
The Beyond the 90 program teaches young people life skills and introduces them to post-high school career opportunities within their hometown. It also teaches leadership skills through community service projects, such as Operation Christmas and the Sleep in Heavenly Peace programs.
