Clarkesville, GA — Scovill Fasteners will be holding a blood drive with LifeSouth on Thursday, May 27, 2014 in Clarkesville, Georgia. The blood drive will take place in front of Scovill Fasteners from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Scovill Fasteners is located at 1802 Scovill Drive in Clarkesville, Georgia. As always, the Scovill blood drive is open to the public.
Before donating, it is recommended that participants:
- Bring their photo ID
- Drink plenty of non-caffeinated, non-alcoholic fluids 48 hours prior to donating
- Eat a good meal full of protein the night before and morning of the blood drive
- Get plenty of rest the night before the blood drive
- Do not smoke one hour previous to or after donating
Registration for the blood drive will be held in front of the First Aid Office, and your ID is needed to properly register. Family members and walk-ins are always welcome to donate.
