Life South Blood Drive a Success!
The Wednesday, 18 September Scovill-sponsored blood drive held for Life South was a success with 28 pints of blood donated. The drive, opened to the public, is one of several planned for this year. One pint of blood is considered to save up to three lives, so 84 lives were potentially saved. Thank you to all who donated the gift of life.
The next blood drive is planned for Wednesday, December 4, 2013 to support the American Red Cross.
